Carine Part I

If you're not aware of who she is, allow me to introduce you to none other than Vogue's French editor Miss Carine Roitfield.  She is the sultry, vixen counterpart to Anna.  Think rock & roll meets chic couture.  A true fashion icon.  More to come.

Harper's Bazaar Feminine Shoot

Model Carmen Kass's new cover & spread in Harper's Bazaar. Exquisite, now hand over those shoes.

Vogue Germany: Balmain & McQueen

A few shots from the latest Vogue Germany starring model Frida Gustavsson.

Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 RTW

"Somewhere Over The Rainbow" played over the speakers as models came down the runway at Marc Jacobs.  Staying true to his preferred soft pastel palette and uniform shapes, the designer did little to break out from his usual presentations this year.  Still, Marc created a gorgeous collection with quite a large amount of fur.  My favorite quote about his collection so far, spoken by the designer himself, "It's refreshing to see something that isn't trying so hard to be new. There's so much striving for newness now that newness feels less new."  Couldn't have put it better myself.  Check out the last glittery dress with the dark bandaged waist, to die for.

Halston Fall 2010 RTW

Two beautiful fire orange creations from Halston. Congratulations new designer Marios Schwab, for breathing life into this historic fashion house.  Halston lovers such as Sarah Jessica Parker looked on as models strutted the new collection down the runway. I wonder if one of these pieces will be her choice for the red carpet in May.

DVF Fall 2010 RTW

Diane Von Furstenberg is one of my all time favorite designers.  Not only is she a unique and extremely talented designer but her message of female empowerment is endearing and truly a breath of fresh air.  Her accessories stood out the most to me in this collection, with Diane opting for the usual vibrant patterns for fabrics.  Here are a few shots.

The rest of the collection can be seen here.

Herve Leger Fall 2010 RTW

Feast your eyes on this bounty of beautiful bandaged dresses...maybe a bit much of alliteration but the collection truly is gorgeous.

Alexander Wang Fall 2010 RTW

Alexander Wang's Fall 2010 business suit inspired collection would make for a very interesting day at the office.  But in all seriousness, can I just say how much I love Alexander Wang? I am dying to get my hands on some of the sweaters from this collection. Cutout garments, lace and velvet are a must for the fall season.

Altuzarra Fall 2010 RTW

Showcasing a quite dramatic and almost all black collection, Altuzarra pushed the envelope this year & justifiably so captured its audience with an electrifying presentation. Overall, it's a leather banded mohair infused dominatrix masterpiece.
